Suburban
Lawn offers a complete landscape design and
installation service. By following a landscaping design and installation
process, we are able create pleasing landscapes that complement your home
and emphasize your individual preferences. Customer satisfaction,
throughout the landscape design process is our goal.
Step 1 Initial Contact: The Customer makes the initial contact with Suburban Lawn. Suburban Lawn advertises in local news papers, the yellow pages, the Local Welcome Wagon, and the World Wide Web. After the Customer contacts us by phone or sends us an e-mail message, a representative from Suburban Lawn will follow-up with a telephone call or an e-mail message. The Customer may also fill-in and submit the Landscape Service Request Form with which the Customer can give a general idea of their requirements. Step 2 Scope the Project: The next step is to determine the scope of the Customer's project and determine how Suburban Lawn can help. Sometimes this involves a total landscape design and total landscape installation. Other times the project calls for an add-on to an existing landscape. Depending on the amount of help needed, the process can follow one of two paths. For Customers who prefer to do-it-yourself, we are located on a Large Retail Nursery which includes a retail landscape center. Our Nursery offers cash and carry shrubs, trees and evergreens. Our on-site salespeople can assist you with any of your landscape needs. Step 3 Define Requirements: For the Customer that is looking for Suburban Lawn to supply and install the Landscape project, the next step is to begin the design process. The Landscape design involves meeting the Customer at their site, reviewing his requirements, and matching sound Landscape design principles with those requirements. It is important that the designer have a clear understanding of the Customer's budget for the project and that the proposal is developed with an overall financial target in mind. Our Landscape Designers are experienced landscape design professionals and are graduates of horticultural and landscape design schools. Step 4 Design and Proposal: After all of the requirements are defined and after alternative ideas reviewed, the Landscape Designer goes to work to design the detailed Landscape Plan. After the plan is completed a proposal is prepared and submitted to the Customer for review and acceptance. The proposal is refined to the Customers satisfaction and the Customer notes their acceptance of the proposal by sending a signed copy of the proposal to Suburban Lawn with the a 20% deposit to schedule the work to be done. Step 5 Installation: The final step is the installation of the landscape project. The Suburban Lawn Office and Nursery teams make sure all material is ready when the job is started. This assures the Customer that the job gets done without delays. The installation team will have copies of all landscape designs and a well documented work order for all jobs. The installation team is headed by an experienced Landscape Foreman. The Landscape Designer keeps the Customer informed about when their job is scheduled to be done and makes sure any unique requirements of the Customer are understood by all parties involved with the installation process. Suburban Lawn is proud of our team of professional Landscape Designers, the Nursery personnel, the Installation personnel and Office Management personnel that will make your next landscaping project a success. |
